Question by Jonny: How can i tell if my iphone 3g is unlocked?
Its an iPhone 3g and it works on firmware 3.1.2 … the modem firmware is 05.11.07
I used blacksn0w and when i downloaded it… it said “Enjoy your unlocked iPhone”
How do i make sure its unlocked?

put a another carrier sim card in it and make a call…

Like, in the USA, iphone only works under AT&T… so put a T-Mobile SIM in it and make a call… if you can call someone and they can call you, its jailbroken….

If your in Europe, put another carrier’s SIM card in it… and test it out the same way

    If it can read any sim whether at&t or verizon or orange or anything, it is unlocked..
    Also try changing the background of ur iPhone, if you can change it then it is jailbroken..
