Hi,

My brother gave me his iPhone 3G, but it’s locked. My question is: what are some reliable and safe websites where I can get it unlocked to work with T-Mobile? There are a lot of scams out there, and I don’t want to waste money.

Also, would a sim card from a pre-paid phone work with an unlocked phone?
And for those of you who are using T-Mobile on unlocked iPhone 3G, what’s it like? Does the internet work fine?!

well, there really is no safe way to get it unlocked. like if you goggle “how to unlock an iphone 3g”, you’ll probably get thousands of results. second, of the phone is unlocked, it should work with any type of sim card.

    Call the company on the customer care number, they should be able to unlock it for you, I don’t think you can unlock it on the internet, and no not prepaid sim cards won’t work on it unless it’s a 3 sim.
